New apps arrive in time for the Palm Pre launch in Europe today[Update]

Two new apps appear in the catalog just in time for the European launch which is happening in mere minutes! The apps, ran and VZ-Netzwerke, both free apps, arrived in the catalog just a few minutes ago. They are definitely suited for Europe since neither app is in English, but English only speaking people shouldn't feel left out. Palm also decided to throw in The Weather Channel app for free in the catalog today as well! This is a very exciting time right now for those who waited the extra four months it took Palm to get the GSM version of the Pre to Europe. But today is the day, it is finally here. Are you getting your GSM Pre today whether you live in Europe or you know a way to get it unlocked?!
Update: According to the German O2 site there will be other apps launched on the German App Catalog that have might not be in the North American Catalog. If any of them are any good let us know in comments!
Update: It looks like both of the VZ-Netzwerke and ran were pulled from our app store. It also looks as though a few other apps are showing up in the catalog.
VZ-Netzwerke - Free [PULLED]
ran - Free [Pulled]
billiger.de - Free

Just checked ou both apps. VZ is your basic social network application. Nothing special, but solid work. They need to integrate those VZ networks to synergy ASAP! ran is a soccer information app for the German Bundesliga. Every result for this season, live ticker plus videos. Great stuff too, if you are into soccer.
Thanks a lot for that info cris! Also at the German O2 site there are other German language apps. Feel free to let us know what those do too!

I definitely would have liked the soccer app, especially with qualifications going on. The apple app store has a really nice one.
There are 2 apps missing within the app catalog, which are presented at the O2 page: Spiegel and BILDmobil. Both are news sites. Spiegel more serious information and BILD is a tabloid.
Those apps which are pulled from your catalog are still available at the German catalog.
You haven't seen wetter.com which is a great weather app.
Well the Pre has been launched, both in Germany and in the UK. It's great that so many applications are offered. This is defnitely a prerequisite for success. All of the above mentioned german companies are well known in German, for example Spiegel owns a great website with in depth articles on about every subject.
the new apps for germany are great, only thing i didn't like were comments and low rating sounding like
"wtf is this crap? its all in foreign" (zero stars rating)
seriously uncool.
