WebOS 1.3 to be released worldwide by November 15th?
So we found out today that the Pixi's official launch date is going to be November 15th, at the fairly low price of $99.99. Well this news can only mean one thing. WebOS 1.3 is around the corner! We saw in the Pixi press release that the Palm Pixi has included a Facebook app, which was developed by Palm themselves, and Yahoo integration into Synergy, allowing you to chat with Yahoo friends in the messaging app and show your Yahoo contacts on the phones contacts app. This functionality is expected to come to the Pre at some point. When Engadget's, Joshua Topolsky, was given the demo of the Pixi, he asked if these new apps and Yahoo integration would be included on the Pre. The gentleman confirmed the Pre will not be left out. We also heard a rumor from a site that reviewed the German version of the Pre, WebOS version parity would happen sometime in mid November. So this means an update is definitely looming. Whether there will be any other features added is uncertain at this point but, if you look at the length of time between each '.1' update we have received in the past, we are actually over due for 1.3. Keep your eyes peeled for WebOS 1.3 news in the coming weeks. We are pretty confident it's on the way.

I'd like them to add Picasa to the Photos app.
Yep, I think it's a safe bet tht WebOS 1.3 will be out by Nov 15. But beyond Yahoo integration, what will 1.3 offer? My top wants are video recording and better searching (SMS and email). SMS forwarding would be nice (but there's a patch for that).
Picasa integration would also be nice.
Also, of the many typos in this post, "parady" was the worst. I had to read it three times to realize you meant "parity."
i love the title. Like your asking us. Like we know if it's coming out Nov. 15?
Thanks for the corrections. My sincerest apologies!
The ability to enter smilies with the symbol table. (aka to render a happy face...press symbol twice to pull up the smilies menu. Scroll to the one you want. Press enter. Dont make me enter :-) or remember what ;^> means.
Video & text forwarding: I'm good. Oh, wait ability to send more than one pic at a time & a saved group entries for sending SMS. It takes forever entering contact, select, then enter another contact, select. Also some predictive dictionary action. Never knew about this on the old trusty 700p, but the 800w & Treo Pro spoiled me. And, oh the calendar: wait for it, wait for it. That's what I do when I open the calendar. Battery life. Make the Pre sip, not guzzle. Oops, list got a little long. : ) That is all.
I'm already with the German version of the Pré (in France), but he's not able to get the 3G or the Edge on some french providers (like SFR)... So, is this new version of Web OS coming with the ability to change the settings and the APN to get the 3G network ?
