Latest iTunes 9.0.2 Update = No Pre Sync, again.
Totally didn't see this one coming. Apple updated their iTunes to 9.0.2 this morning, and along with its new features and improvements was the death of the Palm Pre Sync. Again. But fear not Pre users that use iTunes, Palm will most likely bring it back from the dead with the next webOS firmware update or the one after that. Right?

At this point, I think we've come to expect this. I've just gotten used to always using doubleTwist to sync
This attack on the Pre has actually pushed me in to staying with PC. My PC is nearing end of life, and I considered Mac, but why should I if it doesn't want to play well with everybody?!
Hey! Please pass the Linux, thanks!
I don't understand why Apple can't just work with the Pre & maybe figure away to get an Itunes store on the Pre so they can make a buck. I know alot of Pre Haters will post later, but everyone is willing to work with Apple, why aren't they willing to offer the same consideration? My Itunes is on a PC, just as I'm sure a lot of people's are. It would be messed up if microsoft decided to block Itunes for Windows media. Do they think they're winning over new customers with this fight?
Why stop at Apple letting its competitor, Palm, use iTunes, why why not let General Motors allow Ford to use GM's technology so Ford can sell more cars than GM. Or how about Microsoft allowing the Sony Playstation to use its technology to get an advantage over the Xbox? Hey, better yet, why doesn't Palm just let Apple use any or all of Palm's WebOS technology so people will have more reasons to buy an iPhone than a Pre?
Since Apple already freely gives out its API's so anyone can create their own iTune syncing software I suspose that Palm could always write their own syncing software, but nah, that would be too much trouble to go through - better to let Palm just piss off its Pre users, I guess, by making them go through a completely unnecessary on again, off again hassle?
When will Apple realize that letting non-Apple mp3 devices sync with iTunes actually brings in more iTunes users, and does not hurt iPhone or iPod sales?! Is so Apple so stuck up their own asses that they think people are buying mp3 devices or for that matter smartphones based on whether or not they sync with iTunes? There are a million methods in getting DRM-free music and video to your smartphone even if you have iTunes and it doesn't sync with your device! Apple is so pretentious of a software developer that they think non-Apple devices are not good enough for Apple software syncing, but their software is fine to run on non-Apple platforms! FUCK APPLE! I couldn't care less about iTunes, iPods, iPhones, Macs, or any other Apple product!
@ Don
Your reasoning is the most moronic thing I have ever read! Your Chevy/Ford and Microsoft/Sony analogies are inapplicable and absolutely retarded! You believe that if the Pre specs did not read "syncs with iTunes" then that would cause people to reconsider after reading the rest of the advantageous features that the Pre has over the iPhone?!! Get real!
