Palm is still cranking out the apps. As of 10:42 EST 719 apps and growing by the minute. At this rate 800-900 apps by the end of the weekend. Go Palm!
YEAH MAN...ALL THESE APPS ARE..(JAVA SCRIPT),AND WE ONLY GOT 721 APPS NOW. BY THE TIME THE APP CATALOG COMES OUT OF DATA,WITH THE ADDITION OF FLASH BETA,WE WIILL BE ABOUT 1000 APPS.I LIKE THAT PALM IS PUMPING MORE APPS DAILY,AND UPDATING THE OLD APPS. SOME APPS COULD'VE BEEN PAKAGE INTO ONE, INSTEAD OF REALEASING THE SAME APPS WITH DIFFRENT NAME AND THE SAME PRICE. (EG.BRIGHTHOUSE LABS),THEY KEEP RELEASING THE SAME APPS,WHICH ADD MORE VOLUME TO THE CATALOG,BUT IT SUCKS TO KNOW THAT,IT'S THE SAME..WITH JUST DIFFERENT. PALM IS FOLLOWING APPLE FOOT STEPS,RELEASE MORE APPS,GOOD OF BAD,TO RAISE THE NUMBER UP..LIKE THAT YO CAN HAVE A HIGHER VOLUME,BY MAKING MORE MONEY.PALM IS IN THIS FOR THE MONEY,CAUSE THE APP CATALOG IT'S A BUSINESS BY IT'S SELF. NOW,WHEN THE GPU ENABLE..WE GONNA SEE EVEN MORE APPS,MORE 3D GAMES,AND BETTER QUALITY.MOST OF IPHONE GAMES WILL BE PORT OVER TO THE PRE,SINCE THE BOTH HAVE IDENTICAL FEATURES.2010,WILL BE A GOOD YEAR FOR PALM WITH MORE CARRIERS.
