Skype not coming to the Palm Pre...yet

Skype said today that they have no plans to write an application for the webOS/Palm Pre. Well, at least not until they see Pre's success. "We want to see how that device sells," COO Scott Durchslag told reporters. "If [the Pre] takes off, it's something we'll consider."

I don't blame them. Right now, they have their hands full with a buggy Skype iPhone App that was released yesterday. On top of that, they're getting ready to release an App for the BlackBerry in May.
