How to: Take Screenshots on the Palm Pre

Greg Kumparak over at MobileCrunch has gotten a handy tidbit for us soon to be Pre owners. The iPhone has a simple way of capturing its screen, holding down the home button and push the top button once. While taking a screen shot on the Palm Pre is as simple as holding down 3 buttons, the Orange, Sym, and P keys. The screen grab is then saved to the Photo App, ready for anything.

Ummm... how many thumbs do most people have? Pressing 3 buttons necessitates putting the phone down to accomplish this. I wish they would have done it with 2 keys. Or better yet, made it configurable.
That being said, this will not keep me from lining up at the Sprint store the day that the pre is available. It is, at best, an extremely minor issue.
@ mjh
I second that.
Seems to be fairly easy to do.
You hold the palm pre stable in the left hand using the LEFT thumb to depress the ORANGE key
Mean while the right thumb presses the SYMBOL key and the right INDEX finger presses the P or PRINT key...
Doesn't seem too difficult for anyone with the ability to use tools.
I concur with Joseph there, nature gave us fingers with dexterity for a reason, so use it! Or be a dog and be on all fours.
Orange+Sym+P gives me a weird international symbol menu, not a screen shot.
@ A.P.
Check in your screen shots folder on your photos app. Sym brings up the thing you're talking about. And doing those button combinations sometimes bring it up by accident.
how can you make the 'back' and 'refresh' symbols that appear on the screen disappear'??
Can someone verify the Screen shot proceedure works after WebOS 1.4. I have never seen it work , but I've only tried it post WebOS 1.4 update. Knowing 1.4 changed the video and photo directories I fear this has gone bye-bye.
This just worked for me. I have webos 1.4.1.1. The 3 key combination requires dexterity but it's not too difficult. A new folder called "screen captures " was created in my photo app.
