Howard Stern Chooses the BlackBerry Bold over the Palm Pre

Palm send a Pre-Production Palm Pre to Howard Stern to help get the word out about the Pre. Howard Sterns opinion was that the Pre was a fine phone, but it had no ability to connect with Lotus Notes and for him this was a deal breaker. Howard Stern has chosen the BlackBerry Bold, a device that has the capability to connect with Lotus Notes.

Look at it this way if a consumer doesn't use Lotus Notes then this is actually of no importance to you as a consumer. What the majority of consumers are looking for when purchasing a device, is that the device is capable of performing whatever their needs may be.  There are many Smart Phones on the market at this time, it comes down to a matter of personal preference. At this point we will all have to wait and see what the developers at Palm are going to create, the possibilities are endless.

I did a quick comparison of the Palm Pre and BlackBerry Bold, look for yourself.  Personally I was more impressed with the Pre. After all the Palm Pre does have two of my favorite features a 3.1 inch touch screen along with a physical qwerty keyboard that slides down.  Well maybe I'am bias, since I don't use Lotus Notes.
