Fry's Electronics to Carry the Palm Pre

This just in via tip from a trusted source, Fry's Electronics will carry the Palm Pre. Although I was told that this would not be on the launch date June 6th, 2009, Fry's Electronics would carry the Palm Pre within a short  time frame after the initial Pre launch. Pricing and rebates are still being determined, but this goes to show that Palm/Sprint are looking to make their moves with large retailers to get the Pre into the hands of new customers. Now we have Best Buy, Radio Shack and Fry's Electronics all in the Pre sell-a-thon.

As reported earlier this would mean Four Major Retailers are going to carry the Palm Pre, whether in limited capacity or stock including Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Radio Shack and Fry's Electronics.

If Fry's, Radio-Shack, Wal-Mart (surprisingly), and Best Buy Mobile will carry the Pre outside of the Sprint stores, how can be really believe that there will be any real shortage on or soon after June 6th?

I hope that Palm/Sprint make exceed demand so impulse buyers and window shoppers will buy the Palm device and help Palm and Sprint come back to life!
