Palm Pre to get SlingPlayer?

The guys over at engadget have come across a little document regarding a Pre slide deck entitled "The Pre Application Story" which shows several "Showcase Apps" that will be loaded on the phone come Sale day. One of the apps, Sling Media, seems to come from the good folks SlingPlayer and SlingBoxes. This may be available for EV-DO 3G on Sprint (we're hoping) but it may be available in WiFi only.

You mistake Sprint for AT&T, I have a feeling that Sprint won't cripple the app. If they don't I could see people defecting from AT&T...

I keyed in on the Salesforce thing too. That gives the Pre a good bit of enterprise credibility...something the critics complained about with the iPhone when it first came out. Way to go Palm!
