AT&T Chief Executive to Palm Pre: I'm Lovin' It!

AT&T's Chief Executive Randall Stephenson stated that he would welcome the Palm Pre into their handset line up once the exclusive deal is over with Sprint. AT&T may have to switch their data plans: "Pricing models will change over time, depending on how much data customers use, he said. There's a 'variable cost' for wireless data, as opposed to fixed wired data, and that will be reflected in pricing.

In other words, a $20 or $30 monthly unlimited data plan may be a thing of the past."

Obviously, talks between AT&T and Apple are not going well. Plus, there have been rumors of the iPhone going to Verizon, if so, AT&T will lose a huge new customer base.
