Sprint and Palm Pre; Married Through 2009

Mr. James Fisher of Sprint said "We have the Pre through 2009." Due to all the reports flying around the internets today that Verizon’s Chief Executive Lowell McAdam told analysts at an investor’s conference they would get the Palm Pre within Six Months or so. He meant to say, after six months of Sprint’s Exclusive with Sprint. Read the full story in the WSJ.

McAdam never flat out states that Verizon will be getting the Pre. He says that V will be getting "...phones like the Pre."
Meaning NOT THE PRE, but other WebOS phones, more than likely the EOS.
That's cool @ least we will be the first ones with it. But I might switch to Verizon, JK
I hope the PRE is successful with Sprint that Palm decides to keep Sprint the exclusive carrier for at least an year or two. Think about it, even though the PRE is coming out on the 6th, they are talking about selling out due to low supply. That's unfair to Sprint if you think about it. There's people out there willing to join or change over to Sprint, but they can't because out of stock. If Palm is unwilling to give longer than 6 months, they should at least start the clock when supply meets demands (whenever that might be).
