When doing cursor movement or copy/paste (holding orange or shift down), I could use the gesture area to move the cursor.
Now, I cannot. anyone else?
Also have noticed the dial pad seems a bit better, especially when running multiple apps. definitely a huge improvement actually when unlocking the phone too.
The OS also feels a little smoother. still not fluid-like, but smoother.
@Linh likewise, however it's a fair trade for me as the cursor is a lot easier to control for me now using those methods
Anyone else having issues with the music app since this update? It just sits there with the screen overlay "working wheel" as I call it, as if it is scanning my library.. it's been going for 10 mins now, it's not like I have a lot of music. 6GB of apple lossless music is nothing.
My Music app is working fine, but then again I only have 16 songs so I don't know...
@Linh
If you hold the orange key you can swipe over the actual text input area one character at a time. If you hold shift you can highlight. Not sure if that feature was always there but it is pretty cool. At least it works that in the messaging app.
jd77xx, I know. Before you could use the gesture area too. I preferred that
Thanks Linh - without reading your post I would have probably never discovered that. Maybe Palm will bring that back in the next update, if Palm continues this release an update every 14 days schedule, well that seem fair..
My pre battery was being sucked down in three hours...so far so good (i have a full battery and it has been unplugged for 3 whole hours!!!) with the new OS. Even with auto locate, gps, bluetooth, email checking all turned off, it would still drain.
Anyone else have any battery issues?
