I was told after this l-o-n-g wait for the palm pre, there will be limited amounts in Sprint stores and they will be sold, first come, first served!
I called 3 stores and went to 2 stores and was approached with rude comments, 'well the store will be opened at 8:00 a.m., you better be in line early! We have no idea how many we are going to receive, good luck trying to find one, You can go to another phone company, I don't care!' Being a Premier Customer, I am totally shocked to be hearing such a thing.
I have spoken with 5 frien's today and al of them are switching from Sprint to other companies. I feel this palm pre launch was handled terribly and I may be the next one to move on!
Any idea what cities these events are taking place? I am a premier customer, but I didn't get an invitation. So I'm wondering if there's even a launch party here.
I'm a Premier customer, but Miami isn't one of the ten cities. :-/ Ah well, my friendly Sprint Store reps are opening at 8am, so I'll just have to wait an extra 12 hours.
Carlos, I spoke with my rep today, and was told "I can't give you an exact number for security purposes, but I can tell you we have a lot of them. A. Lot."
I know now everyone has the same experiences, but at my store they have always been very helpful and friendly.

That's what I get for being too specific. I asked about a Miami launch and was told there weren't any in the county. Rassa-frassin' 55 miles away... mumble mumble...
10+ year Sprint Premier customer but I've been shunned. Not invited.
Oh well, it sure would have been nice to bring a shiny new Pre to WWDC next week.
