Palm Pre Coming to Verizon in January?

According to a WSJ report, Verizon wireless is going to carry the Palm Pre this January. But our earlier post where Dan Hesse refuted this in a video interview gives us a different story.CNET editor Maggie Reardon interviewed Sprint CEO Dan Hesse, who explained that the Palm Pre is exclusive to Sprint for longer than the six months recently reported.
Time will only tell but Sprint may be looking to extend it's contract with Palm because Sprint pricing voice/data are the best in the industry. Palm may feel the same way.

Not going to happen, Verizon is in damage control, they do not want their customers switching to Sprint. The WSJ must not have seen that leaked internal memo from Verizon, which tried to label the Pre as a device not nearly as good as the BB Storm.
It's going to be an interesting field with AT&T set to debut a WebOS mobile phone (perhaps the Palm EOS) this fall and with all the exclusivity going on, it's going to be a toss up. Verizon wants the Pre of course but as of now, they are telling everyone that the BB Storm is A LOT better which is definitely is misleading consumers.
I agree that Sprint's network is definitely topnotch, but the game is gearing towards 4G and w/ both AT&T and Verizon heading towards LTE, it's going to be another fun 2 years in terms of cellular expansion.
AT&T is a big fail in MMS and tethering. #FAIL!
I hope ATT gets the pre soon I'm posting this from my pre but I think I'm going to return it because I don't get service at home with the pre. I think I migt have to checkout the 3gs.
I am days away from switching to the Pre. Verizon can really take a hike as far as I'm concerned. I spoke to a representative a few days before the Pre launch about how much longer I have on my contract (I'm free and clear) and he asked why I wanted to leave, saying that he could offer me a better deal than "the competition" and when I mentioned the Pre, he replied... "Oh, well yea, if you want the Pre, your choice is made for you." He didn't even try to offer me the storm or anything, the guy sounded depressed.
Either way, after record sales like that, I'm sure that Sprint will try to extend the contract. I would if I was in their shoes.
can't beat Sprint's plans. I mean, the simply everything plan is simply amazing
"can't beat Sprint's plans. I mean, the simply everything plan is simply amazing"

Ok, let's clarify here. can't beat Sprint's plans, ok - I see that as a valid statement. But "simply amazing"?? Since when is paying $99 a month for a phone service "simply amazing"? yea, sure, compared to what things of yester-year were, but come on. $99 a MONTH is still ALOT of money!
