Tip of the Day: Deleting Apps/bookmarks from the launcher on your Palm Pre

How to delete apps/bookmarks/contacts from the launcher?

Hold down the 'Orange Button' and tap on the icon of the app or bookmark you wish to remove from the launcher(You can't delete the pre-loaded apps). And just hit delete when the window pops up.

Now only if we can remove the sprint stuff we don't use. Or just get more pages so we can dump the useless stuff on it.

another way to delete apps that u have downloaded from the app store, is by going into your

1. device info app (found on the last page)
2. scrolling down til u see more info,
3. the software tab (on the top next to hardware) it will show u all the apps loaded to your device,
4. tap on the app u would like to delete then tap delete.

Thanks for the tip. I was wondering how to do that! You can hold down the orange button and swipe back on a word/sentence to move the cursor backwards.

Yup that's how you do it I was on the phone with tech support for half an hour this morning trying to figure out how to delete a link to a website that I had saved to the launcher

Now if only I could remove the NASCAR app. There isn't much that I hate in this world more than I hate NASCAR.

It didn't work for me. If I hold down the orange button, it hides the launcher screen. I don't get the option to delete a bookmark. Any other ideas?
