Palm Pre Price Cut by $100, only $99
I'd say from the looks of it, Pre sales has done really well over the past month and a half. And I think that is all gonna drastically change because it looks like Best Buy has lowered their price tag on the Pre by $100. Now $99.99 for new customers/eligible upgrades, and $759 off contract... (That's paying $400 more if you had bought one on eBay) We don't now if this price change revolves around just Best Buy or Sprint Stores yet.
The question is, will Best Buy give early Pre adaptors $100 back? Oh and you haven't gotten a Pre, go get one NOW.

I'd like to get some money back. Got my Pre at a Sprint store though - not Best Buy. none-the-less if the Pre is doing well, it would be nice to thank the early adopters.

Did't the same thing happen with the 1st iphone and then apple gave a coupon to the early adopters? hello palm are we listening?
Ugh I paid $300 and still haven't seen the rebate money back, and now it's $200 less at Best Buy? Sure that's an "instant rebate" but I could care less, it's being out $300 vs $100. Does Palm get enough kickback money from Sprint that a $100 Pre is at all profitable?
I just got mine at Best Buy on Monday. They better give some money back. I bought all the accessories too. When is this effectve?
Went to www.bestbuy.com and then to their weekly flyer which prompted me to enter my zip code. The flyer shows the Pre at 199.99 w/2 yr agreement ("Prices effective Sunday, July 26 - Saturday, August 22, 2009"). I wonder where the bust buys are that are selling it for 100 bucks less.
seriously? a refurbed pre is $750? BS. a refurbed iphone no contract is less than this, and by far nicer hardware.

You can get an off contract Pre for $350 on eBay. And where do you see this refurb Pre you're talking about?
Confirmed in Indianapolis. Just snagged a Pre for $99, though the sticker tag still showed $199 and the price cut was news to the employee at the register!
I got two new palm pre's last week and I just went to best buy's customer service with my reciepts and they gave me the price cut guarantee and refunded me the difference of $100 for each phone.

Sprint.com still shows $199. Anyone heard if any Sprint stores are selling them for $99? I just bought my Pre from a Sprint store yesterday -- any chance I'll get a refund for the difference?
