You'd rather watch somebody's HD home video rather than an actual movie?

@Donkey

I think it said "home videos and HD quality movies".

Umm... is there much point in downloading 1280x720 or higher resolution video to watch it on a 3.1" 320x480 pixel screen??

I love how people throw the buzzword "HD" around without implying there's any definition for what it actually means :P

Yeah, I did see that, but I'm pretty sure Kazaa went legit just like Napster. I don't think that this Kazaa client will enable the sharing up pirated movies, and it doesn't sound like it's a service for purchasing movies, either. I think that the press release was merely indicating that the Kazaa client will not be limited to SD video sharing. Thus, non-copyrighted HD video can be shared. With copyrighted material out of the picture, what does that leave? Home movies and amateur films.

@Supacon

I agree. Even SD video would be too much for the Pre. I guess maybe you can eat up some of your 5 GB download limit and your battery life by downloading an HD movie on your Pre just to transfer it to your computer later. I don't see the point.
