OpenTable Now Serving Palm's webOS With New App

The group said that OpenTable for the Palm webOS platform allows diners to check the availability of multiple restaurants in the area; read restaurant reviews; get the location of the restaurants, make free, confirmed reservations; invite friends to join them; and, then follow directions to the restaurant.

OpenTable said its second mobile application to date, OpenTable for Palm webOS, includes several new features, such as the ability to view comments about particular restaurants from actual diners. The application takes advantage of the capabilities of Palm webOS, allowing OpenTable users to integrate their reservations into the phone's calendar and even modify reservations if plans change.

BREAKING NEWS: 2 New Apps on App Catalog

This just in: We have spotted what appears to be 2 never before seen applications on the App catalog. Confirmed by the change in App Count, now 32 with 30 just moments ago.

OpenTable: Find the closest restaurant near you, and get directions, Add to Calendar, etc. Alternative to the GoodFood app.

Fliq Bookmarks: This app is essentially a expansion of the Missing Sync app, adding the ability to sync your Safari bookmarks from your Mac.

Having just 32 apps on the Pre is nothing to brag about. I hope this is a warm up for more apps to come in the coming weeks, months... Nonetheless, good to see Palm pushing out more apps, even if it's just 2.
