Guess what? Another Pre in the wild!

Are you getting tired of all the wild sightings of Pre's? Cause we're not... not until we get our very own Palm Pre. 

@mikemosqueda (Michael Mosqueda), iPhone lover, had a chance to play with a Pre that was being 'field-tested' at the time. He was kind enough to give us his impression of it: 

"Really good. I have an iPhone 3g and the pre is giving it a run for it's money. One thing that it lacked was Flash support and no keyboard in landscape mode. I really liked the speed of the device. Multiple apps and not too much lag. The size is also amazing. It has a good feel to it with its rubberized backing(The Touchstone battery cover). The charging dock is pretty cool too. It takes really good pics and the mirror on the back when it is slide open is a nice feature. And I even got to watch a video on it and the screen looks really clean. It's no OLED but it looks pretty good still... Hopefully iPhone 3 has an OLED display."

We were told that it had the App Catalog on it, and he remembers seeing these apps; ESPN, YouTube, some sort of worms game, Sprint TV ( native app), Pandora and a few others.

New Meet Pre Video: "This Weekend"

There's a new "Meet Pre" video titled "This Weekend." The video shows the functionality of two new apps, Fandango and Pandora.

If you don't know yet, Fandango is a Movie application that allows you to purchase tickets for a movie theater closest to you, and the ability to easily invite people by email. Pandora on the other hand streams music right to your Pre. You can leave it in the background running with music since it's a live card.
