Pre's Touchstone Having Charging Issues?

Looks like the Touchstone issues, like this user is having are something to do with the Pre sitting on the Touchstone charging dock. This may be an isolated incident but this could mean that the Touchstone unit is not working properly either. 

A report earlier today at precentral indicated cracks are emerging on the cover of the Pre, but that Sprint is rectifying the issue immediately with instant replacements of the handset. Thank you Sprint for showing great customer service!

BestBuy's TouchStone Kit: In Stock date changed from 5/10 to 6/7

Remember just 2 days ago, we reported that the TouchStone kit appeared in BestBuy's inventory system listing as $69.99 and a in stock date of 5/10? Well, another BB employee apparently had sneaked another shot, nothing changed but the in stock date, which is now moved to 6/7, the rumored release date of the Palm Pre.

Palm Pre Accessories shows up in BestBuy's System -- 'TouchStone kit' priced at $69.99

Well looky here... Several Palm Pre accessories landed in BestBuy's system today. According to lgmack, it included 3 acrylic cases, a leather case, one case labeled 'palm pre case' and the "TouchStone Kit"(Charger with battery back cover). He mentioned that the Touchstone is listed at $69.99 which matches fits quite well with earlier reports. He also noted that though these accessories are listed as "In Stock Date: 5/10", he didn't find anything in the store yet. 

What does this say about the Pre's release date? Not much, but soon. What I can tell you though is that the chances of a mid-May release is looking very dim right now. Your best bet would be on 6/7.
